If you’re looking for the perfect gift for someone who has everything, the Range Rover Holland & Holland Edition by Overfinch is in a league of its own. This ultra-luxury SUV showcases the pinnacle of British craftsmanship and bespoke design.
While newer competitors like Bentley, Lamborghini, and Ferrari SUVs have entered the market, the full-size Range Rover Holland & Holland Edition remains the quintessential high-end off-road vehicle. Its elegant, refined design has helped it maintain an iconic status among luxury SUVs for decades. Moreover, despite its polished, modernist appearance, the Range Rover Holland & Holland Edition is not just about glamour. Underneath the sleek exterior is a fully capable luxury 4×4 platform that can tackle tough terrain with confidence. In fact, when the road turns rugged, this high-end off-road SUV can go almost anywhere a Mercedes-Benz G-Class or Toyota Land Cruiser can. This blend of sophistication and serious off-road capability is exactly what makes the Range Rover Holland & Holland Edition so remarkable.
What Exactly Is Overfinch? Everything You Need to Know
Overfinch, founded in 1975, quickly became the go-to name for custom Range Rovers in the U.S., winning a small but fiercely loyal following. Long before automakers started producing their own high-performance SUVs, Overfinch focused on making Range Rovers faster, sharper, and more luxurious.

However, things changed when Jaguar Land Rover began building its own high-powered and premium models. As a result, Overfinch’s business struggled, eventually leading to bankruptcy in 2010.
Fortunately, the brand later returned under new ownership. Today, Overfinch has reinvented itself as a builder of ultra-luxury Range Rovers and Land Rover Defenders, offering bespoke interiors, custom exterior hardware, and a level of craftsmanship that sets it apart once again.

If you’ve ever strolled through London’s West End, you may have seen Holland & Holland’s famous gun room on St James’s Street near The Ritz. Now part of the Beretta Group, the brand has spent nearly 190 years crafting high-end sporting shotguns and rifles. Known for innovations like its 1861 bolt-action patent and the 1912 .375 Magnum cartridge, Holland & Holland also supplied sniper rifles during World War II. Its flagship creation—the Royal side-by-side 12-gauge, priced well over $200,000—has been hand-built at its Harrow Road factory since 1898.
An Unforgettable Collaboration Between Two Icons
As its name suggests, the Range Rover Holland & Holland Edition by Overfinch combines the best of all three brands into one ultra-luxury SUV. Starting with the $221,650 Range Rover SV and its 607-hp 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 (0–60 mph in 4.3 seconds, top speed 162 mph), Overfinch adds a $196,000 Holland & Holland upgrade. The package features bespoke interior and exterior enhancements inspired by the British countryside and the warm wood and engraved steel of a Holland & Holland Royal shotgun.

The model shown here includes the optional $45,000 duo-tone leather interior—one of three exclusive color combinations—along with the $65,000 Companion Chests, a bespoke set that functions as both a gun case and a luxury picnic kit. With these additions, even before you load it with a pair of Holland & Holland Royal side-by-side shotguns, this hunting-ready Range Rover comes in at nearly $650,000.

The Range Rover Holland & Holland Edition exterior features bespoke upgrades, including 23-inch forged aluminum wheels with Holland & Holland-engraved center caps, a gold-trimmed grille with diamond-pattern engraving, and the Overfinch hood lettering alongside an aluminum side vent with the “Royal” scroll. At the rear, a full-width light bar with an illuminated Overfinch badge completes the luxurious look.

Designed by Massimo Frascella and overseen by JLR’s minimalist chief creative officer Gerry McGovern, the full-size Range Rover exemplifies clean, modern design. Overfinch lead designer Greg Shilton added 19th-century graphics without overdoing it, creating a subtle blend of classic craftsmanship and 21st-century luxury. As Shilton says, “You still maintain a clean overall aesthetic, but up close, you notice subtle twinkles of detail.”

A Closer Look Inside This Bespoke Range Rover
The 2025 Range Rover Holland & Holland Overfinch interior blends luxury with Range Rover’s minimalist design. Most surfaces are wrapped in Bridge of Weir leather, while open-pore French walnut and real metal cover the rest. Stainless-steel door inserts feature engraved scrollwork from the “Royal” shotguns, and diamond patterns in the veneers echo the guns’ stocks. Additionally, the Holland & Holland crest graces the front and rear consoles, the latter including a Champagne cooler and flutes.

The leather seats showcase a unique quilted pattern inspired by the Holland & Holland diamond motif, with game bird illustrations stitched into the backrests. In the duo-tone colorway, the front seats are primarily Harris Green, while the rear seats are mostly London Tan.

The optional Companion Chests offer luxurious storage and entertaining essentials. The upper chest holds two bottles of Champagne, crystal flutes, a staghorn corkscrew, silver stoppers, crockery, H&H monogrammed napkins, and a full cutlery set for eight—perfect for entertaining friends (though only 25 Holland & Holland Edition Range Rovers exist). Meanwhile, the lower chest stores two shotguns on a figured walnut insert with an H&H plaque, plus eight whisky tumblers, two decanters, and two pewter hipflasks shaped like shotgun cartridges.
The Verdict: Is It Worth It?
On paper, the Holland & Holland Edition interior might sound over-the-top, but in reality, the craftsmanship and attention to detail are spectacular. It feels like a shooting rig fit for a king, fittingly so, as both Holland & Holland and Range Rover hold Royal Warrants from King Charles III. Of the 25 units being built, 12 are already sold, including four headed to the U.S. However, if you were thinking of gifting one this Christmas, think again—there’s a 12-month production lead time, meaning your earliest chance to play Santa is Christmas 2026.
